Downtown Commons to serve as gathering place near arena

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KCRA) —The Sacramento Kings and JMA Ventures, LLC announced Wednesday the mixed-use project as part of the Golden 1 Center, which will be known as the Downtown Commons.

Downtown Commons, nicknamed DOCO, will be a three-acre plaza that will feature entertainment, restaurants and clothing stores as well as a place for people to enjoy outdoor concerts, fresh markets, outdoor activities, according to officials.
