Ginny Fang is the CEO of Golden Gate Global. Prior to joining GGG, she was the founding Executive Director of ChinaSF, a public-private initiative of the San Francisco Center for Economic Development, in close partnership with the City of San Francisco Mayor’s Office, with the goal of attracting Chinese investment and business expansion into San Francisco. Under Ginny’s leadership, ChinaSF successfully facilitated the expansion of Chinese companies to the San Francisco Bay Area, including companies such as Suntech, Bank of Communications, and Zinch.com. Ginny continues to serve as Chairwoman of the Board of ChinaSF. She also serves as a Board member for the Alumni Board for the Goldman School of Public Policy at U.C. Berkeley, and is a part of the Editorial Board for the Chinese edition of eb5 investors magazine. Ginny received her Masters in Public Policy at the Goldman School of Public Policy at U.C. Berkeley, focusing on international economic development. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Dartmouth College.
Mr. Kay is a founding member of Kay & Merkle, LLP, a San Francisco law firm specializing in transactional law, including real estate and commercial transactions, commercial litigation, estate planning and other related areas of practice. Mr. Kay has extensive experience representing entities and individuals involved in the business of developing and owning improved and unimproved real property, including Lennar Homes, Lennar Community Builders and Mills Corporation Real Estate Trust. Mr. Kay was admitted to the California Bar in 1966. He received his bachelor's degree in 1963 from the University of California at Berkeley and earned his L.L.B from the University of San Francisco in 1966. Mr. Kay is also a guest lecturer for the Practicing Law Institute (PLI).
Mr. Brown served as the 41st Mayor of San Francisco from 1996 to 2004. During his tenure as Mayor, Mr. Brown ushered in a significant increase in real estate development, public works, city beautification, and other large-scale city projects. Prior to serving as Mayor, he was the Speaker of the California State Assembly for 16 years, the longest serving Speaker in California history. Mr. Brown was reelected to the California State Assembly 16 straight times, serving from 1964 to 1995. Mr. Brown has also served as a Regent of the University of California and a member of the Board of Trustees of the California State University system. Mr. Brown earned his bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University and a J.D. from Hastings College of Law, University of California.
Mark Jorgensen is Vice President, Investments at Golden Gate Global. Mark brings over a decade of institutional real estate investment and finance experience to GGG. He was previously at Point Lobos Capital, Farallon Capital Management, and Lehman Brothers. Mark earned his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Eren joined GGG after ten years of management consulting, international real estate and corporate law experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Pega/Jones Lang LaSalle and Herguner Law Firm. He has worked within the fields of finance, real estate, mortgage banking and energy, specializing in project management, strategy consulting, foreign investments and contracts. His work at GGG focuses in managing the investment process through the EB-5 immigration investment program. Eren holds an M.B.A. degree from UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School and a JD degree from his home country of Istanbul, Turkey.
Prior to Golden Gate Global, Yipeng was an Investor Relations Associate at The Blueshirt Group in San Francisco, where she provided investor relations services for both public and private companies. She has extensive experience and qualifications in investor communications and financial analysis. She holds an M.A. in Investor Relations from the University of San Francisco and a B.A. in Economics from Indiana University.
Carrie Zhou is the Investor Relations Manager at Golden Gate Global. Her responsibilities include developing U.S. and China relationships and opportunities with direct investors, attorneys, and foreign partners. She also leads investors through their entire immigration and investment process. Prior to joining GGG in August 2014, Carrie was the assistant director at Elite Educational Institute, one of the leading college-test-preparation organizations in the U.S. Carrie holds a master's degree in Human Resources Management from the London School of Economics, and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Shanghainese
Victor A. Espinosa
Victor joined Golden Gate Global after ten years of providing C-suite executives, ultra-high net worth individuals and their families comprehensive private wealth management services at a Goldman Sachs company. He has extensive experience building and developing client relationships and implementing strategic financial plans. At Golden Gate Global, Victor focuses on international business development initiatives. Victor received his bachelor's degree in International Business and Finance from Northeastern University.
Jason Brown is the SVP of Business Development for the Asia-Pacific region. He is an international executive with a proven track record of success in developing EB-5 investor programs throughout Asia, in addition to building a number of branded direct-to-consumer retail businesses. Jason has extensive experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions, as well as managing operations at a senior level for over 30 years in multiple countries including China, India, Vietnam, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australasia, and Mexico.
Jenny Ng is the Director of Investor Relations at Golden Gate Global. Jenny spent over 15 years in the financial services industry, with extensive experience in client relationship management, business development, marketing, product management and project management. Before joining GGG, she was Vice President, Product Specialist – Asian Strategies at Allianz Global Investors, where she promoted the firm’s Asian investment capabilities to US investors. Prior to that, Jenny was Vice President, Relationship Manager at RCM Asia Pacific Limited in Hong Kong where she worked with institutional clients in Hong Kong and China. She had also held positions at E*Trade and Merrill Lynch in the US. Jenny has a B.A. in business economics, cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an M.B.A. with honors from Saint Mary’s College of California. She holds the FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses and is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Amanda Ibay is an Investor Relations Manager at Golden Gate Global. Her responsibilities include establishing migration agency relationships, developing opportunities with investors, and expanding the investor client base through attorneys and foreign partner referrals. She also leads investors through their entire immigration and investment process. Prior to joining GGG, she was a financial professional at AXA Advisors, specializing in retirement planning and asset protection. She holds security licenses Series 6 and 63. Before AXA, Amanda worked in the management team for two private educational companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. Amanda earned her master's degree in public relations and corporate communications from New York University. She did her undergraduate work at Shanghai International Studies University, majoring in journalism. Before she came to the U.S., she was a fashion news reporter for a national TV network in Shanghai.
Grace Guo is an Investor Relations Assistant at Golden Gate Global. Prior to joining GGG, Grace worked at a merchant banking firm in Beijing, China, where she grew from analyst to senior associate. She assisted more than 20 small-to-midcap Chinese companies with their IPO/RTO processes in the U.S. and has tremendous experience in Chinese cross-border financing and strategic investments. Grace earned her bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Peking University.
Jade Bian is the Controller at Golden Gate Global. She joined GGG after 15+ years of extensive experience in the areas of Finance, Accounting and Tax, both in public accounting and private industry. She was most recently the Controller at AXA Investment Management US. Prior to that, she was a Senior Auditor at E&Y. Jade is responsible for accounting, fund administration oversight, HR and general company operations for our investment funds, management companies and regional center. She earned her MBA degree from Armstrong University, and her bachelor's degree from Nanjing University. Jade grew up in China and is fluent in Mandarin. She is a CPA and a CFA Charterholder.
Bruce Wu is the Senior Accountant at Golden Gate Global. Prior to joining GGG, Bruce was the primary accountant in a visual marketing resolution startup where he created and maintained the accounting structure. With specialties in process design and internal control, Bruce is currently pursuing CPA licensing. Bruce earned his bachelor's degree in Forensic Accounting from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He has native level proficiency in Mandarin and English.
Gene Kim is Golden Gate Global’s Marketing and Communications Manager. Gene’s experience in the financial services marketing, communications, and PR spans nearly a decade. Prior to joining GGG, he was Communications Manager at the nonprofit Institute for College Access & Success, and previously Communications Specialist at Promontory Financial Group, a regulatory-compliance consulting firm for financial institutions. Gene holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of William & Mary.
Even Zhang is the China Administrative Assistant for Golden Gate Global. She currently supports the company from Shanghai. Prior to joining GGG, she worked with ESEE Model Management and Sun Media Group in Shanghai. She previously studied Art and Design, specializing in garment design, at Zhejiang SCI-TECH University, and Fashion Institute of Technology -- State University of New York. Even graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Ms. Chu was born and raised in Guangzhou, China and immigrated to the United States at the age of 14. In 1996 Ms. Chu founded her own real estate brokerage firm, Goldenland Investments, in Oakland, Calif. where she currently serves as Principal. Ms. Chu is responsible for the management of more than 200,000 square feet of commercial property in Alameda County. Prior to starting her own firm Ms. Chu was a real estate agent with Commonwealth Co and Goodjob Properties. From 1984 to 1988, Ms. Chu served as a news announcer and producer for Sino Broadcasting Corp. Ms. Chu earned her bachelor's in Mass Communications from the University of California at Berkeley.
