Golden Gate Global (GGG) would like to congratulate the investor family who, in August 2021, received the first San Francisco Shipyard Fund 5 I-829 petition approval. In partnership with Lennar Corporation (NYSE: LEN), our Shipyard series of EB-5 funds financed a significant portion of San Francisco’s largest-ever development project.

The I-829 petition is the culmination of an investor’s EB-5 visa process. As the last step in their EB-5 journey, an approved I-829 petition removes the investor’s conditional residency restriction so that the investor, their spouse, and their unmarried children under the age of 21 can live in the United States permanently. As of October 2021, over 230 GGG investor families have received their permanent green cards.

Founded in 2011, Golden Gate Global has 12 EB-5 funds invested in high quality development projects. The GGG team welcomed the great and much anticipated news from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services confirming the first I-829 petition approval in Fund 5. “Each I-829 approval is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team focused on delivering the best outcome for each of our investors. We are thrilled that our investor and his family achieved the ultimate EB-5 immigration milestone and look forward to congratulating more investors in a similar fashion shortly,” said the firm’s Founder and Co-CEO, Steven Kay.
