After raising $77 million from foreign investors for Lennar Urban’s massive Hunters Point Shipyard redevelopment — and targeting another $96 million over the next few months — the leaders of a pay-to-play visa program are broadening their vision. Golden Gate Global, whose directors include former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown and Brown’s longtime attorney Steven Kay, may partner with other “regional centers” in California to expand its portfolio of projects, said center CEO Ginny Fang.
