EB-5 TEA Project: Brooklyn Basin of Oakland - Project Update - 1

On a beautiful sunny San Francisco Bay Area afternoon this past July, Golden Gate Global’s (GGG) Investor Relations and Project teams joined a large investor group to tour the Brooklyn Basin Master Planned Community (Brooklyn Basin) with Signature Development Group (SDG) and observe the progress of our upcoming Fund 13 EB-5 projects. GGG’s 13th EB-5 fund offering consists of two multifamily development projects comprised of approximately 751 rentable apartment units—Project G and Project H—within the award-winning waterfront community of Brooklyn Basin on the Oakland Estuary of the San Francisco Bay in Oakland, California.

Considerable construction progress has been made to the seven-story mixed-use Project G structure since construction broke ground in March 2021. Concrete has been poured for the first two levels that will serve as the foundation for the upper five stories that will contain 371 residential units. SDG led the informational tour that discussed the multi-decade entitlement and development history of the 64-acre Brooklyn Basin community, while showcasing their most recent fully leased apartment building, the Orion. GGG also toured the Township Commons, which recently won a prestigious architectural award and garners huge crowds of visitors on the weekends to enjoy food, entertainment, and breathtaking views.
